Relax at the Beach #2 ATC

Created this Artist Trading Card ATC 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of artwork using Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create the beach & sunset background. Used There She Goes By The Sea stamps. Stamped the sentiment after using the TH Distress Inks to create background. Paper pieced the chair & table. Used a cutter that hubby gave me to cut out the parts of the chair & table that scissors would not cut. Tied a piece of twine to the chair. Used stickles & Glossy accents on the drink on the table. Stamped a SeaGull and then used black thread to stitch the SeaGull. Used Kraft cardstock for base.

Supplies List

cutting tool: cutting blade that hubby gave me,
back of it has words 'American Line',
I believe he bought it at Home Depot,
I like how small & steady to use it is since I'm not very good with knives of any sort

  1. Like the distress ink touch....I love using Distress inks to make backgrounds. So much fun!
    Cute table and chair.
And what cutter does the hubs have that we don't? Are you talking about a craft knife...an exacto type knife?

    1. The cutter has the words 'American Line' on it. It's a small blade box like cutter. For the small space of cutting it was easy to control and not cut too far.
